HOW TO MAKE A DTD
型取りのやり方
DTDとは、Duct Tape Dummyの略称です。
ケモノ着ぐるみを制作するうえで主流の採寸方法です。
所要時間 約1~2時間
作業を行う際は必ず2人以上で制作をしてください。
DTD is an abbreviation for Duct Tape Dummy.
It is a mainstream measurement method for producing fursuits.
Time required: about 1~2 hours
Please make sure to have at least two people working on the project.

ハサミ、布テープ、ビニール袋or不織布つなぎ、サランラップ、油性マジック
Scissors, duct tape, plastic bag or Disposable Painter's Suit, saran wrap, oil-based marker

型取りをするために服装はスポーツインナーなど体のシルエットが分かる服装にしましょう。
Dress for DTD should be in sports innerwear or other clothing that shows the silhouette of the body.

ビニール袋を頭と腕を通せるようにカットし被ります。
Cut a plastic bag to fit through the head and arms and cover it.

布テープで胴体、ウエストを巻きます。
Wrap the torso and waist with duct tape.

ビニール袋を展開し足に巻きます。
Unroll the plastic bag and wrap it around the leg.

反対側も同じようにビニール袋を展開し、巻きます。
隙間が出来た箇所はサランラップを巻いてカバーしてください。
Unfold and roll the plastic bag on the other side in the same manner.
Cover any gaps with saran wrap.

布テープで股関の部分を巻きます。
ここで膝、足首も巻いておきましょう。
Wrap the crotch area with duct tape.
Wrap the knees and ankles here as well.

下半身の残りの部分も全て巻いていきます。
All the rest of the lower half of the body is also wrapped.

ラストスパートです！頑張ってください！
両腕は水平に保ち型取りしていきます。疲れても腕を曲げたり、下ろさないようにしてください。
壁に手をつく、棒状の物を持つなどして腕を水平に保ってください。
先程と同じようにビニール袋を展開し腕に巻きます。
It is the last spurt! Keep up the good work!
Keep both arms horizontal and molding. Do not bend or lower your arms even if you get tired.Keep your arms horizontal by placing your hands on the wall, holding a stick, etc.
Unfold the plastic bag and wrap it around your arm as before.

反対側も同じようにビニール袋を展開し、巻きます。
隙間が出来た箇所はサランラップを巻いてカバーしてください。
Unfold and roll the plastic bag on the other side in the same manner.
Cover any gaps with saran wrap.

腕の付け根、手首を巻きます。
Wrap around the base of the arm and wrist.

胸元と首元の部分を巻いて行きます。
首元はサランラップを使用し苦しくない程度に覆ってください。
Wrap the chest and neck area.
The neck should be covered with saran wrap, but not too tightly.

腕の残りの部分も全て巻いていきます。
Wrap all the rest of the arms as well.

カットする線を油性マジックで書いていきます。(色は黒で大丈夫です。)
画像を参考にマーキングしてください。
(受取後、切り込み部分を当工房でつなぎ合わせる為カットラインと横線の両方をお書きください。)
怪我をしないように気を付けながら線に沿ってハサミでカットしてください。
どちらが前か分かるように『前側』『FRONT』などと書いてください。
Write the lines to be cut with oil-based magic marker. (Black is fine for color.)
Please refer to the image for marking.
(Please write both the cut line and the horizontal line as we will join the cut portion together after receiving the product.)
Please cut along the lines with scissors, being careful not to injure yourself.
Please write 'FRONT' so that we know which is the front.
